Job responsibilities:
Perform requirements elicitation to extract safety requirements
Coordinate and perform analysis and breakdown of safety requirements with the ABU
development teams and external customers
Define functional and technical safety concepts for embedded systems according to
requirements
Support safety management (safety plan, DIA and confirmation measures)
Design, develop and document system, hardware and software safety architectures with
respect to ISO26262 and related automotive standards
Perform and support safety analyses and relevant verification reviews
Support specification of system integration and verification tests, as well as the test strategies
Document safety case
Job requirements:
Bachelor/Master degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science,
Software Engineering or related discipline
Solid experience in automotive functional safety projects
Experience in performing and documenting safety analyses and other verification measures
Strong knowledge of development processes for automotive embedded design with respect to
functional safety standards like ISO26262 or IEC61508
Knowledge in embedded architectures of complex multiprocessor systems
Experience in software or hardware design for automotive applications
Hands-on experience with tools for requirement management, modeling (SysML/UML), and
safety analyses
Very strong communication, presentation and social skills
Self-dependent and target-oriented thinking and acting, strong analytical skills
Strong team player with good spoken and written communication skills in German and
English
