  1. Primary Objective of Position
    Understand, map and implement requirements of sick funds with regards to
    technical reimbursement processes of any product that is distributed within the DtP
    (direct-to patient) approach
    • Ensure integration of all requirements regarding account creation, order
    creation, order fulfillment, customer communication, reimbursement process
    for online and offline customers to meet legal and Abbott regulations
    • This includes further development of direct to patient business as well as
    coordination and implementation of new strategic functionalities in cooperation
    with internal stakeholder and existing or new third-party service providers
    • Support commercial organization to achieve strategic goals by providing high
    quality analysis and tools regarding sales force, customer relationship
    management, market and patient data, and sales analysis
    • Regular quality assurance and testing of our webshop Free Style Libre
  2. Major Accountabilities
    • Understand & coordinate all functional requirements of the DtP setting
    • Support market access team in reimbursement matters with regards to DtP
    processes and requirements
    • Support marketing team in e-commerce matters with regards to the technical &
    process aspects of the webshop
    • Support finance team in payment and order fulfillment matter with regards to
    the technical & process aspects of the webshop
    • Primary point of contact for internal & external DtP stakeholders (mainly
    Warehouse, Booking system, reimbursement service provider, communication
    service provider)
    • Proactively manage projects with internal and external stakeholders
    • Focus on best practice to initiate and coordinate improvements/further
    development of DtP concept and adjust reimbursed DtP web shop
    • Support alignment of back-office processes
    • Model and analyse DtP sales and associated costs in close alignment with
    relevant internal stakeholders

  3. Education
    • Adequate university degree in economics, business administration or business
    information technology
    • Fluent in German (native) and English
  4. Background
    • At least 2-3 years’ experience in one of the following industries: medical
    devices/pharma, e-commerce, clearing center or payer
    • Understanding of German reimbursement system
    • Proven project and process management skills

• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in reimbursement & functions of pharma I medical device or related
functions of payers I market access consultancies I disease management
organizations (market access or related functional areas)
• Previous experience or exposure to IT industry and working with international
teams is an advantage
• In depth knowledge of the German reimbursement system
• Existing network to German relevant DTP stakeholders
• Hands on experience / understanding of diabetes and blood glucose measuring
• Certified Project Management Trainings (e.g. Scrum, PMP, Six Sigma)
• Engaging personality able to develop sustainable relationships and to effectively
communicate with internal & external stakeholders Excellent MS Office skills,
especially Excel, Access and Powerpoint
