Improve ITOM self-monitoring, monitoring and reporting
Support the (partial) deactivation of customized interfaces that will no longer be needed in
the
future (ITSM, gAHD)
Review of implemented customized solutions (Java Script) and clarification how it could be
solved
by OOTB solutions – simplification
Developing, adjusting and correcting of customized solutions (Java Script)
Support with interfaces for existing and new monitoring tools (e.g. SCOM, Zabbix, Oracle
Enterprise Manager, …)
Support of ServiceNow release upgrades
Consulting and knowledge transfer
Improvement of existing tests and generating of automated tests in automatic test framework
Improvement of existing documentation
Requirements:
Extensive and proven (operational) experience (> 3 years) with supporting, operating and
administrating the ServiceNow ITOM module (Event Management)
Experience in Event Management with monitoring platforms such as SCOM, HPOM,
Zabbix, etc. and interfaces to ServiceNow.
Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow fundamentals, ServiceNow Event Management
fundamentals, and Service Mapping fundamentals.
Knowledge of ServiceNow Developer fundamentals, Operational / Metric Intelligence
fundamentals, CSDM fundamentals, ITSM fundamentals, ATF fundamentals
Strong documentation skills
Knowledge of implementing and adjusting scripted custom solutions in ServiceNow (Java
Script – Client and Service Side)
